Chicken Tortilla Soup Hat
by Linda Butkus
A slouchy hat for those crisp autumn days.
This hat was finished shortly before my wedding in October, 2009. I wore it on my honeymoon to Wisconsin, and my husband said it looked like chicken tortilla soup.
Included with the pattern, is a recipe for Chicken Tortilla Soup!
The drape and slouchy fit of this hat is greatly attributed to the recommended yarn. If substituting, try to use a yarn with a similar fiber content.
This hat is knit in the round, using only two colors at a time, but all four colors will be attached once starting the colorwork.
Skills: Knitting in the round, following charts, stranded knitting, increasing and decreasing.
