This darling little Chickie is made on a large gauge knitting loom with 24 pegs. The pattern is currently available in the Spring 2012 issue of Loom Knitter’s Circle Magazine.

The Chickie in the first photo has 1/4” button eyes (see pattern). The second Chickie was a gift for a baby shower so I embroidered the eyes on with black yarn. It’s safer for babies than buttons that could present a choking hazard and still just as cute as can be.
