As with all amigurumi I make, I suggest using any worsted weight yarn. I feel it simply holds up better. My personal favorite lately is Loops and Threads Impeccable. If you use a different weight yarn, make sure to drop your hook size from the suggested one listed on your skein. With all amigurumi, you want the smallest gaps possible between stitches to hold in that stuffing!
