Meet Chikorita! Chikorita is one of my favorite pokemon and I hope somebody will enjoy making her!

To make Chikorita you will need:
– A Crochet hook, 2.5mm
– Light and dark green DK yarn (or yellow if you want to make a shiny!), plus some pink and white
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– White and red felting wool for the eyes
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
– A bit of pipe cleaner for extra stability for the leaf (optional)

Please note that you can make Chikorita using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, she should stand about 17cm tall.

Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Single crochet (sc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
- Changing colors
– Slip stitches, half double crochets (Hdc) and double crochets (Dc) for the flowers
