I am now retired from knit design due to progressive arthritis and I am offering my designs to Ravelry users for free. I will not be providing designer support any longer but my patterns are tech edited and almost all have been tested.

Chilam is a seamless sweater with center back slit, dropped shoulder, three-quarter-length sleeve, and a wide portrait neck. Chilam features bottom-up construction, first flat for the bottom trim, then joined in the round to work the body. A column of twisted-stitch ribbing accents the left front body. An accent line of texture intersects with the twisted-stitch ribbing above the front bust line. A 3-Needle Bind Off finishes the shoulders. Sleeve stitches are picked up and paired decreases narrow the sleeve to just below the elbow, where the matching cuff with bottom trim finishes the three-quarter-length sleeve. The neck edge is finished.

Materials 830 (860, 900, 1000, 1056, 1146, 1265, 1300, 1350) yds/760 (786, 795, 824, 970, 1050, 1160, 1190, 1235) m worsted-weight plied yarn (singles not appropriate for the texture in this pattern)
