This works up within a few hours on a 22 pin circular knitting machine, such as the Addi Express or Sentro. It looks great with or without the crochet trim. Therefore, no crochet skills are necessary.

You can use any yarn for this project. I have used Lionbrand Sparkle Mandala cakes and Snowball DK yarn for my examples. DK, Aran and Cotton yarn will all work well for this design, providing you use the simple guide contained in this pattern to adjust your sizing.
