Viola is a bit sleepy and always hungry forrest owl. She loves long, dark and warm nights and her best friend is a mouse.

Recently I designed Viola the Owl mittens for myself (also available to download for free from my website). My step-daughter saw them and wanted similar ones for herself. So here is my version for children. Use yarn thicknes to determine the size; Drops Karisma makes a bit smaller mittens, maybe fit for 4 years old. You can also add more rows on the sides to make the mittens larger.

I’d love to here what you think of them and if you notice any errors in the instruction (my “knitting-English” isn’t so strong I’d like it to be).
