This is a quick and easy pattern for a pair of child’s mitts that are knit in the round from the bottom up. The brightly coloured Koigu is wonderfully soft and fun for children. Any 4ply sock yarn would work, and given the small yardage, this is a brilliant project for left-overs. Beads in the cuff are optional; they simply add a little bling to the mitts.

Instructions assume beginner/intermediate knowledge of knitting construction and pattern reading. Pattern is written for two mitts at a time on two circular needles.

Cast on fewer or more stitches to customize the fit, or use sport/DK weight yarn together with larger needles. Stitches must be divisible by two.

Size:
To fit a child’s hand 17cm – 20cm (6½ins - 8ins) in circumference.
