This series was inspired in order to provide choice and control for the maker in size, color scheme, design, and patterning. This asymmetrical triangle shawl is designed to provide the maker agency, choice, and variation - you can use any yarn, any size, any color scheme. When worn, it does not need to be worn as a shawl - it can be worn as a scarf. This triangle shape is uniquely designed to create a curved neckline that wears beautifully. This design, Child’s Pose, is restful and calming to knit and appropriate for all knitters, even beginners. There are so many variations available, and the knit stitches themselves are not difficult.

The photographed example is in Cotton Kings Twirls by Hobbii (sport) in color Turquoise, needle size 4. Cotton Kings Twirls is a 4-ply 100% cotton skein, 200g, 874 yards. Since publication, this yarn has been renamed Sultan. A similar color is Aquamarine.
