The fluffy white liner is crocheted separately from an outer cover (the colorful part in the sample photos) and the two pieces are stitched together. Photo and written instructions are provided for the SC-SlSt Tri-cord that is used for the neck strap and the bow string that the pom-poms are attached to.

Hikoo WoolieBullie (super-chunky) was used for the lining. It took 2 balls of WoolieBullie (54 yds). The larger hook is needed for this bouclé yarn, worked loosely in-the-round single-crochet.
Hikoo Simplicity (worsted) was used for the outer cover. It took 1 skein of Simplicity (117 yds). A simple seed stitch pattern provides some texture. Similar yarns may be substituted for each part of the muff.

Inspiration for this cute muff came from the knitted “Girl’s
Handwarmer Muff,” designed by Chuck Wilmesher for the Skacel Volume 6 Winter 2014/2015 Collection. The Skacel knitted muff pattern is a free download on Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/girls-handwarmer-muff
