This style pullover, knit from the top down, will allow the knitter to “expand” the arms and body as the child grows if you so choose. As your child grows, you may make the sleeves and body longer simply by removing the bind off row and slipping the live stitches back onto the needle for further knitting! This pattern is written for 4 to 5 year size and size 6 to 7 years, using the same needle sizes but changing the weight of the yarn to obtain a different size.
