Here’s a pattern for a quick, whimsical infant/child scarecrow hat. The face and hat are seamlessly knit together, and the hat’s rolled brim and colorful patches give it a fun, three-dimensional look!

• Two sizes: infant and toddler

Additional materials:

• 2 buttons for eyes (3/4” or 1”)
• Synthetic raffia gives the appearance of straw poking out from the hat’s stitched on patches! Check with your craft store or floral shop for availability. If not available, you can use natural colored yarn.
