A bias-rectangle wrap with multiple distinct patterns: fringe, plaid and lace with delicate points. Worked in a chunky yarn, Chimaera works up quickly. Adding vertical stripes turns ribbed knit stripes into a lovely plaid. Why name a pattern after a monster that is part lion, goat and snake? Mostly because I love Greek Mythology and this pattern
features many different parts - just like the Chimaera!

This wrap is worked from one end to the other in one piece. The vertical stripes for the plaid are added once the knitting is complete using either surface crochet or the knit method; a video tutorial for both methods of adding the stripes is included. The pattern features notes for altering the size of the wrap. Both written and charted instructions are included.

One size - 18 in/46cm wide, 70 in/178cm long

Gauge
10 sts and 14 rows = 4 in/10cm in plaid pattern,
10 sts and 12 rows = 4 in/10cm in lace pattern with
US13 (9mm) needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)
