I made this doll as a tribute to the writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I was very impressed when I listened to her Ted talks and read some of her books.

The pattern is easy to follow if you are a beginner. It’s a written pattern with some photos of the progress of the proyect. The materials you need are: cotton yarn (brown, black, yellow and orange), 8 mm safety eyes, fiberfill, and a 3 mm crochet hook.

Chimamanda doll is 16.5 cm tall. I used yellow and orange for her dress but you can use the colors you love. And if you don’t have safety eyes, you can embroider them!
