Create a beautiful lifelike branch of Chinese lanterns complete with leaves, fruit in orange and green, and tiny white flowers. Each page of the written pattern features many full color photos of the steps. Information about the plant you’ll be creating is also included.

Materials

• #10 thread: pumpkin, olive green, lime green and white (less than one ball each)
• Wire: 18 gauge green, 22 gauge rose gold or silver, 24 gauge green or silver
• Floral tape: white and light green
• Tissue paper
• Scissors
• Glue gun/ glue
• Paint: Bright olive green
• Paintbrushes: small flat, small pointed
• Chalk: Bright yellow green

Wire is used to support the leaves, fruit, and create stems. Paint and chalk are used to enhance lifelike color. Floral tape transforms wire into stems and wraps it all together.

Specific gauge isn’t necessary as pattern results in a decor/display item.
