Present to you a crochet PATTERN. This is not finished item, this is instruction for crochet Chinese water dragon. The toy is fully handmade, all photos and video are absolutely real.

This is realistic crochet lizard.
Unique tutorial consists about 100 pages in PDF format with more then 300 pictures.
You will get PDF file including:
Crochet lizard pattern with minimum additional tightening and sewing details
Wire frame instructions.
Realistic eyes making. There are used handmade eyes.
Painting instructions step by step. Please note that some of details are painted. You can see the dragon on the last photo without painting and on the video.
Also you will get second file with text only. If you prefer print without photos, use it.
Finished size the dragon is about 65 cm (26 inches) in length.

Pattern written in English (USA terminology). Skill level is intermediate.

Materials and tools.
For this dragon are used Pehorka Openwork 306 yards (280 meters), 50 grams (1.76 ounces) white, light green, light blue and dark grey colors.
For pines only are used green Iris by Kirov 164 yards (150 meters) / 25 grams. These are 2 similar kind of threads. I recommend to use one brand of threads or yarn, 100% cotton or 50% cotton.
◦ Hook 1 mm or 0,9 mm, and 0,75 mm for the nostrils, choose the hook for yourself. Crocheting should be very, very tight.
◦ Filler holofiber.
◦ Flat pliers and cutters for wire and helping with sewing details and eyelids and mouth embroidery. Tweezers and wood sticks for stuffing.
◦ Dark grey or dark green or black DMC floss threads for the mouth.
◦ Soft pastel for tint the toy and acrylic paints, metallic acrylic for eyes making. Acrylic varnish. Brushes for painting different sizes. Waterproof pencils brush or liners, on my example light green, dark green, yellow, grey colors, brands for example Faber Castle, Mitsubishi pencil. White gel pen, or replace it by white pastel.
◦ Glass hemispheres for the eyes, diameter 14 mm. Or ready glass eyes with round pupils.
◦ White clay and soft pastel for making eyelids and claws. Or take color suitable color with threads, green and grey on example. And universal invisible glue, that not leave traces. I recommend Moment Crystal by Henkel. Second glue for the claws.
◦ Steel wire frame 1,5 mm for the body and legs, and 1 mm for the tail and fingers, 0,75 mm for the nails.
◦ Needles for sewing legs, eyelids, nostrils, and long needle for the mouth embroidery.
◦ Silicone brush pen for sculpting and modeling.
◦ For desired use varnish for the clay. I use UV gel polish and UV lamp.
◦ PVA glue for priming spines on the crest.
