This pair of fingerless gloves is perfect for those of us who spend a lot of time on the go, especially as we need access to the ever-increasing number of touch screens in our lives! The graphic colorwork motifs and natural color scheme were inspired by traditional Cowichan sweaters – iconic designs from Native American tribes in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. The long ribbed cuff provides extra warmth and can be worn slouched up under long sleeves for a cozy, casual look.
Construction
- Gloves are worked from the bottom up, beginning with the ribbed cuff and proceeding towards the fingers.
- Thumb Gusset is shaped along underside of hand; once complete, thumb stitches are placed on waste yarn to be held for finishing.
- Thumb and fingers are worked individually.
