Workflow:
You’ll start by knitting the main body, then work back and forth to create the thumb opening. After that, the pieces are rejoined, and the rest of the glove is knit in the round. Ribbing at the wrist is done without the mohair to avoid any irritation. Once the thumb stitches are picked up, the cap for the finger is shaped using German short rows. Finally, the glove is finished with a simple cast-off, and the 2x2 ribbing gets a clean finish with a 2x2 tubular bind-off.
