An art deco inspired hairpiece, created for the Unwind Design Competition.

Stay tuned for a range of Art Deco inspired hairwear to come. I really enjoyed creating this!

Pattern includes a detail photo tutorial of how to make the pleats. Also includes image to show how to attach the slide comb.

To make this, you will need:

Materials

• 1x 50g ball of New Zealand made 4ply/fingering weight yarn. (You will use approx 25-30g)
• 56x beads. (I used Swarovski crystal 4mm bicones) Optional – but recommended
• 1x slide comb.

Tools

• 3.50mm(E) hook
• Yarn needle
• 1x stitch marker
• Something to thread the beads onto your yarn. (I used an embroidery needle and a needle threader)

Gauge is not essential to this project, but stitch count is.
