This pattern is for a lovely average size hat. It has a beautiful swirling lace pattern that is easy to master. It is knit flat and sewn up the back. The hat is pictured in Sweet Persimmon 100% recycled worsted from sKnit, and in Creamcycle in 100% recycled lambswool bulky from sKnit. For different sizes I recommend changing up to a size 10 needle and using a bulky (5) yarn. For an even more intersting alternative try knitting in a felting wool such as lionbrand’s fisherman’s wool in a size 10 and felt it. PS Girl pictured in hat is not Chloe and is just a model.
