This pattern, like most of my other patterns, calls for Lizbeth size 3 thread. I love the crisp, clean, professional look of this thread! The color choices are amazing, it will not fray or stretch out of shape like yarn, and it holds its shape wonderfully! Thread is the perfect choice for hats and baby clothing.
If you have not used size 3 thread before, it is LARGER than size 10, and is much easier to use--less strain on the eyes. I prefer to use Handy Hands brand, Lizbeth thread, but Aunt Lydia’s also makes a nice size 3 thread with great color choices.
