Chloe's Little Girl Baby Blanket
My cousin, Chloe, is expecting a baby girl! Every one is super excited and I now have a perfect excuse to use up all of the pink yarn I have hidden away in my stash! So I decided to crochet a pretty little blanket!
A super cute adaptation of the apache tears stitch - this blanket works up quickly!
Things you will need:
YARN! I used left overs of 4 different DK pinks! and white for the centre stripe and the border- the total weight for a 28″ x 24″ blanket was 200g – roughly 680 yards
A matching hook – I used a 5.5mm hook (I wanted it to work up quickly!)
A yarn needle or darning needle – for those pesky ends!
Something to listen to while you work I was listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix while making mine, hence the slightly umbridgey colours
