This is a big heavy lapghan, afghan that is so lush and cushy! It reminded me of a delicious chocolate covered cherry! I chose Fetish red and Chocolate Chip colored yarn in Rowan Biggie Print.

You may use 17-19 needles but need a circular pair and a straight pair as the borders are knitted separated then rejoined to finish off the top of the blanket.

This is knitted flat and requires some seaming and knitting some pieces before rejoining.

It is a very heavy blanket as the yarn is so thick - so it does work better as a lap blanket.

I have included a variety of pictures along with a written pattern.

The Rowan Biggie print with its warm tones and uneven yarn added rich texture.

Love it for cozy fireside nights!
