This is a sock with a fairly simple color work pattern. The size is easily adjustable for the moderately confident sock knitter. The motif on the heel is worked in intarsia, just enough to get a taste for intarsia knitting.

You will need 100 gms of sock yarn for the main color and less than a 50 gm skein for the color work (probably less than 100 yards).

There is an option in the pattern to knit these socks in one color, with knit/purl patterning instead of color work.
