NEEDLE Knitting Pattern ♥ The Chonky Buffalo Beanies are worked in the round from the brim up. This pattern uses “stranded knitting” or “fair Isle” knitting techniques to create the contrasting buffalo plaid motif.

Baby – Adult sizes.

Pattern includes both chart and written instructions for the stranded knitting section.

8 mm (11 US) 10”-16” circulars and/or DPN’s (will need DPN’s for crown)

♥ Yarn
Choose yarn in 3-4 contrasting colors in super bulky weight 120 -200 yards (or equivalent)
Yardage will depend on hat size, yarn, and personal knitting tension
