This is a triangular shaped shawl with a top-down construction designed to introduce adventurous beginners to new techniques but it is also a relaxing, engaging knit for more seasoned knitters.

• knit with 3 skeins of DK weight yarn in contrasting colours (you can substitute your yarn with sport or light fingering but you may have to adjust your yardage/metres)

• sample was knit using Zen Yarn Garden in the colourway Ooak (Colour A) and Fig and Posy in the colourways Orchid (Colour B)and Syrah (Colour C)

• simple design that is engaging and fun to knit

• shawl height 28” and wingspan 58”

• design features include: garter tab cast on, eyelets rows, purl ridge rows and slip stitch rows

• required notions- 4 stitch makers, tapestry needle

• you can add optional tassels to the ends of your shawl
