The Chore Hat features a doubled layer of ribbing, a squared off crown and a body that includes multiple strands of warm alpaca yarn for softness and a extra bit of warmth. The ribbed pattern allows the fit to accommodate multiple head sizes. 4 strands of Oh Dang! are held together, for the contrast color. Each strand of Oh Dang! is only 49.25 yards/ 7.5 grams (a total of 197 yards/30 grams), so its a great way to use up any left over yarn that you may have from a previous project, such as the Chore Mitts. You can use any combination of colors, or just one color if you wish, as long as you are using 4 strands held together. The hat featured in this pattern used 4 different colors held together.
