Christening Romper
NOTE: the awesome mods you see in picture two and seven, done by bizzeeknitter, are noted on her project page. The patterns for the accessories she put with it, are linked below.
An elegant romper with short sleeves, pleated full-length legs, and subtle trim details. Although the design was created especially with boys in mind, its simplicity invites you to customize the pattern with details such as ribbon embroidery, a small lace or colorwork motif, or pleated sleeves, to make it suitable for girls as well. As written, the romper is quite dressy, but choosing bright colors or a contrasting color for the trim will make the garment a practical addition to baby’s everyday wear, too. (see photos 2,4,5,and 6)
