Complex Shetland shawl uses 5 different lace patterns, including unusual Rose & Anchor. Knitting begins with the scalloped lace edging and works in towards the centre. Designed for Shetland 1 ply cobweb wool. Finished size 50” square.

Please note this pattern uses Gladys Amedros’ unique lace abbreviations, they are not the same as normal abbreviations but once they are learnt it makes perfect sense.
