Christi's Ziggy Zaggy Sweater
Great yarn deserves a special pattern designed just for it! I just love Bamboo Bloom Handpaints! Not only is it an interesting combination of fibers, bamboo with “blooms” of wool, but the colors are absolutely outstanding. I started with and knitted 1 skein of my favorite color of the Bamboo Bloom Handpaints, then changed to another color that had some similar colors. The transition reminds me of a “Monet” painting. We are virtually painting a sweater with yarn! This pattern starts at the neck and works its way downward. It initially looks funky, but trust me, it works out and can be worn immediately without sewing. the sampled size is meant to be oversized. The Bamboo Bloom Handpaints and the Irish Jig (or any other like-weight novelty yarn) each require 360-540 yards depending upon how long you would like your sweater. I use Addi Turbo Clicks with extra cables, one 24” (I prefer 2 to hold sleeve stitches and save time & $$) and one 32-40” to knit in the round. All these yarns and needles are available on my website.
