These festive bags ae perfect for gifting and holding gifts!

These patterns are easy and use US terminology. For the body of the bag, will start with an initial chain before working back along one side of the chain then around the second side. You will then continue to work ‘in the round’.

A knowledge of how to crochet is essential the patterns do not teach you how to crochet, they simply provide instructions for you to make the items.

Materials:

• Hooks: 6mm/J-10 (US) and 3mm/D-3 (US)
• Super Bulky / Super Chunky / 16 Ply > less than 25g of each colour
• BLACK DK yarn / 8ply
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

I’ve used plush yarn to work the bags up quickly in a good size. My Christmas Bags are 22cm wide, 20cm tall (not incl handle, 25cm high at the top of the handle). Using thicker yarn will result in a larger bag, thinner yarn will make a smaller bag.

I’ve used Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn in the following colours:

• RED = 040 Tomato
• GREEN= 111 Jungle Green
• BEIGE = 05 Beige
• WHITE = 01 White

For BLACK, I’ve used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in 124 Black.
