Christmas basket
This super cute Christmas basket is so easy and quick to make that you’ll enjoy making it. You can make 3 or 4 of them and spread around your Christmas dinner table. They will be a great decoration. Or you can make them as a Christmas gift. Just fill them with candies or homemade cookies! :)
This instant download crochet pattern is my original design and it may not be distributed in any form. You can sell items that you make using the pattern, the only thing I ask is that you put a link to my store mentioning the pattern:

This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.
For this pattern you will need:
- Yarn
(I used „Unitas Mirabela“, weight: Sport/5 ply, 155 yards (142 meters) in 50 grams (1.76 ounces)) but you can use any other yarn similar to this one here is also the link to Ravelry about that yarn http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/unitas-mirabela
You can use any yarn for this pattern. If your yarn is thicker the basket will be bigger and if it is thinner the basket will be smaller.
I used two strands of above yarn and my basket is 10 cm/4 in diameter and 5 cm / 2 in high.
- 4 mm crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge for your yarn/number of strands.
- 2 mm crochet hook to help you pull the yarn through the bead.
- Beads (I used 8mm with 3mm hole wooden beads, you can use any that you like)
- Yarn needle
Stitches used:
- ch – chain
- hdc – half double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- slst – slip stitch
Finished size of the basket is: approx 10 cm/4 in diameter and 5 cm / 2 in high.
