Christmas Bitsy Teddy
This pattern has been discontinued as I have combined the girl and boy bitsy bears in to a single pattern. Christmas bitsy bears
Bitsy Teddy is wearing her new dress and warm winter cloak She’s is wrapped up snug and warm for a Christmas afternoon walk.
Bitsy Teddy’s clothes are removable, so little folk can enjoy dressing her up, so she can enjoy all their adventures together.
Bitsy Bear’s head and body are knitted in a single piece with simple shaping
Bitsy teddy’s dress and cloak are knitted flat in a single piece from the top down.
The dress is seamed at the back.
The front/hood edging on the cape is picked up and knitted after sewing up.
If you are new to top down patterns this is a nice first project, stitch markers help track the shaping. I explain each step row by row to guide you.
Standard knitting techniques are used through-out- however please be sure to use M1(make 1) when increasing, otherwise your stitch count will be incorrect.
This 7-page pattern has two sections, Part A covers making your teddy, part B covers making her clothes. Each section includes full details to guide you through making up and finishing
