Who’d have thought the next big reason to cast on would be to knit Santa’s undies? This fun Christmas bunting of Santa’s washing line will bring some giggles and blushes; included are Santa’s sweater, socks, trousers, jacket, hat, mittens and underpants.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the pieces are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
A stitch holder
Buttons and wooden pegs to decorate

SIZES
One size only - the outfits range from 3.5 cm to 10 cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, picking up stitches along an edge, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
