Christmas Cable Stocking - Crochet Pattern.

Available in UK & US Terminology.

Measurements of Crochet Stocking (not including faux fur cuff); Using Aran weight (10ply) yarn - 16 inches long x 7 inches wide (measured around the leg part).
Pattern could be adapted to be made smaller if you used DK (8ply) weight yarn as an alternative.

This was made using 5 x balls Scheepjes Cahlista yarn.
Any Aran weight yarn should also work well.
Approximately 395metres / 432 yards

Basic Instructions are given in this pattern for the lining, faux-fur cuff and pom-poms, should you want to try to add this to your stocking. This is an added extra but the stocking can be made without this add on.

If wanting to make the lining and/or cuff & pom poms, additional materials needed include;
-cotton/non-stretch material 21” x 24”
-faux fur fabric (less than 60mm pile is best) 6” x 10”
-needle and tread / sewing machine
-a small amount of stuffing for the pom poms
-cord (3-4mm thickness) 45cm
-pins to hold fabric in place
