This doily was inspired by a half circle shawl I made for the holidays. It is a beautiful peppermint candy spiral that uses basic stitches in an effective way. The white trim reminds me of a cellophane wrapper without being too literal. This doily adds just the right touch of elegant festivity to your holiday decorating!

To make my doily, I used 2 colors of holiday metallic crochet thread. My finished doily is about 11” across, though you can make yours bigger by repeating more rows. There is a simple border around the outside to finish it off without distracting from the main portion of the doily.

Gauge: 13 st, 12 rows in a 4” x 4” square (double crochet)
