This shawl was inspired by a crochet pattern that was inspired by a knit pattern. Let’s just say I quit after the first couple rows. I wanted a peppermint candy look with several sections and only simple, uncomplicated stitches. I am so pleased with how it came out!

To make my shawl, I used two cakes of Hobbii Twister Solid in color #117. I was extremely pleased with this yarn. It is delicate and drapy, but not fragile. My finished shawl is 51” across the top and 20.5” tall at the center point. You can use any #2 or #3 weight yarn and corresponding hook, though I would probably not go above a medium #4 yarn because this shawl does better with a flexible drape.
