This is the last in a series of six linked patterns, published gradually in December 2023 for a small knitted wreath. The pattern for covering the wreath is available separately and the six patterns for decorations will be published on alternate days at the start of December.

The last decoration to be added to this wreath is a handful of traditional candy canes. These are simple strips of striped knitting twisted round a pipe cleaner and then bent into shape. The candy canes are fun to knit and could be used as hanging decorations elsewhere at Christmas, perhaps on a small tree.
