This is the second in a series of six linked patterns, published gradually in December 2023 for a small knitted wreath. The pattern for covering the wreath is available separately and the six patterns for decorations will be published on alternate days at the start of December.

A mug of hot chocolate is always comforting whether at Christmas or any other time. These little knitted mugs are about 4.5 cm / 1¾“ tall and are decorated with tiny festive buttons. I knitted three of them for my wreath and stuffed them lightly to round out the shape.
