These cute little chickies are perfect for brightening up your Christmas - or for that last-minute market prep!

They take about half an hour to work up; so, they’re quick and cute!

This pattern uses Kismet Velvet, though any size 6 yarn will work.
Materials:
40 yards of main colour yarn.
Scrap yarn in green, brown, red, and white.
Black yarn for embroidery.
Stuffing.
4mm hook.
14mm safety eyes.
Darning needle.
Scissors.
Your chickie will be between 7-12cm tall.

This pattern will work with cotton, DK, chenille, velvet, or blanket yarn, but you might have to adjust where you place the wings.
