The Christmas Chronicles 2 Beanie was inspired by the beautiful cabled beanie worn by the young actress Darby Camp in the movie Christmas’s chronicles 2 released in 2020! I wanted that hat And so did many other watching. So I got to work, working out the beautiful cables and the sizing to fit 12 - 30 inch circumference, giving the option of 0— 6 inches of negative ease. I decided to release this as a pattern because I could not find one anywhere and people everywhere were asking for that hat pattern. So here you have it the Christmas Chronicles 2 Beanie. Worked from the brim up in Aran weight yarn and both written and cable chart included you can make this hat in no time. Perfect for a gift knitting!

Yarn Requirements
Aran weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Landscapes. Colour ways used in the sample to the right is volcano. Grams and yardage is approx. Also many of my testers used worsted weight and got gauge and they use natural fibres and even hand spun yarn!

Baby, 30g or 45 yard
Child; Boardwalk 60g or 70 yards
Youth; Skyline 80g or 120 yards
Adult; Metropolis 100g or 147 yards

Notions Needed

4.5mm, (US 7) and 5 mm,(US 8 ) needles for knitting in the round

Cable needle
darning needle
3-6 stitch markers
pom pom maker or pre maid pom pom such as a fur pom pom (pom pom is optional)

Gauge Required
22 sts X 26 rows = 4x4 inch square in reverse stockinette stitch in the round. With 5mm needles US 8.
