Christmas Cowl
This was such a fun, crazy and quick make!!
The yarn was a gift and when I looked at the balls side by side it screamed ‘christmas’. I had just one ball of each; a cowl was the only real option – so was born the Christmas cowl. As made the finished size is 63 cm (approx. 25 inches) around by 20 cm (approx. 8 inches) deep. It uses 1 ball of Wool-ease thick and quick and the edging is Lion Brand Romance (less than one ball needed).
The edging is optional but I think it makes it really Christmassy!
Version 2 was added in 2016, it uses one ball of super bulky yarn, is slightly longer but not as deep and has a simple edge.
The cowl could be made in any weight yarn, just adjust your hook size to suit and ensure your starting chain is a multiple of 14.
