A Christmas deer toy makes a great Christmas present. The deer crochet pattern is easy to make and you can enjoy the result. Such a deer looks great in a festive interior and will decorate the house. It can be planted under the tree or on the fireplace. By crocheting such a toy, you can give it to friends and they will be happy to feel your warmth and care.

This is a digital product that, after payment, you download yourself from this site.

This is not a ready-made toy, but a crochet instruction.
Basic crocheting skills are required for making.

  • crochet level – easy. Please, note that this pattern does not include the lessons of crocheting;
  • crochet all parts using one size of the hook in single crochet in continuous spirals without a turning chain until otherwise is instructed;
  • my help at each stage of crocheting (if necessary)

You can use thinner or thicker yarn. This will affect the size of the toy. In this case, you should choose the size of the eyes smaller or larger. If you knit a deer from fine yarn, you can hang it on a Christmas tree like a toy.

Required materials:

** Super Bulky/Super Chunky/14ply velvet yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby 100g/120m or YarnArt Dolce (you can use any color). Basic color - 1 skein, optional colors less than 0.2 skein; DMC cotton floss threads beige color for needle sculpting and black color embroidery of eyes or semi-cotton yarn of a suitable color (I used 4ply YarnArt Jeans);
** Hook size 4 mm and 3 mm for antlers;
** Safety eyes size 12mm;
** Long needle for needle sculpting;
** Needle with a blunt end and a wide eye for sewing pieces;
** Marker or thread of a contrasting color (I prefer to use a thread);
** Scissors;
** Fiberfill;
** Pins to mark places of attaching pieces.

The height of the finished toy when using the specified materials is ~ 25 cm

SYMBOLS:

sc - single crochet;
dec - decrease;
inc - increase;
sl st - slip stitch;
inc6, dec6 - repeat increase/decrease 6 times;
mr - magic ring;
ch - chain (stitch);
(n) - total numder of stitches in round;
Extra (shift) stitch - when crocheting, most often the marker of the round beginning is shifted to the right side. In order to align the canvas, you need to crochet 1 more sc at the end of the round and move the marker one stitch forward. So the second stitch becomes the first and the first becomes the last. This stitch does not count when crocheting.

Happy crocheting! Thank you for visit in my store!
