I made this bag as a gift bag to wrap gifts for my parents for Christmas. The yarn I used stretches very well so the bags were ideal to fit a folded winter shawl and half wrap a rolled scarf.

For the drawstring, you can either braid the colors used for the bag to the desired length, or knit an i-cable (3 stitches) in the 2nd color (white as shown) to the desired length.

techniques used:

• YO (yarn over)
• Knit and Purl
• K2tog (knit 2 together)
• I-cord (optional)

Knit on 3 set of double pointed needles.
