It does not teach you how to crochet. Basic crochet skills are needed to be able to crochet this set.

Using a 2mm hook and the suggested yarn each big doll is about
10 cm tall. (about 4 inches) and each small doll 7,5 cm tall. (about 3 inches)

Yarn (I used Hobbii Cotton friends 8/4)
3mm eyes (I used 3mm beads)
