This pattern is for a jumper, overalls, striped onesie, and stocking cap done in a Christmas Elf style. I have fitted it for the American Girl Bitty Baby® and Corelle Bebe Mon Classique® baby doll, and Baby Stella®.

The onesie is knitted from the top down. The jumper and overalls are knitted from the bottom up. To complete these outfits you will need buttons for the overall or jumper, and a small piece of velcro to fasten the crotch of the onesie.

I used two different yarns to get the colors I wanted (it is hard to find a true green in a DK weight.)

Most of my designs are done with straight needles, and Caron Simply Soft Light Yarns. They are soft and durable; since these clothes are designed to be played with, I want them to be machine washable, yet look nice and feel soft. One skein of yarn is sufficient for this outfit
