This pattern is written using US terms and includes a chart to convert into UK terms. I have used photographs to help with instructions throughout. A printer friendly version will also be included.

This pattern can be made with any yarn size. The yarn size you choose will determine the size of your finished Gonk. Keep to the same size yarn for each colour. Using Bulky (UK chunky) yarn and 6mm hook produces a Gonk approximately 17cm tall.

You will need:
Red, White, Grey and a flesh coloured yarn (less than a 100g ball/skein of each used)
Toy stuffing (Polyester fibre filling)
Yarn needle
Scissors
For weight pouch (optional):
Approx. 100g of dry rice or poly pellets and a nylon stocking.
Other weights can be used instead.
