You require two colors of yarn, light color for the pattern (C1) and dark color for the background (C2)

According to written instructions, you can make either the full width row by row, or just the main panel or the main panel with the first border. The borders can be done later in the round. If you choose multi-colored yarn for work, the option with an envelope border is preferable, as the pattern will look more harmonious.

In the charts, the first and second borders are painted in different colors. Also, the stitches for these borders are written on separate lines in the writing pattern.
