Christmas Gnome Bauble for treats
These cute little Gnomes were designed to pop some money or sweets in for my Grandchildren for Christmas.
Seeing Gnomes are quite popular just now, I took the opportunity to design a Gnome with a twist.
The Baubles are stiffened (instructions in pattern) to make sure they hang nicely on the tree.
The hat is crocheted to the Bauble to form a hinge
Any 8ply (DK) or even worsted weight yarn can be used with suitable hook.
I used a variety of different types of yarns.
Some of the plaits were made from fuzzy angora yarn, hats from metallic yarn and even the baubles are made from a variety of yarns which looked Christmassy.
This is a stash buster so small amounts of yarn can be used. I only had small amount of red sparkly yarn so I did stripes of plain red and sparkly yarn.
