The Christmas Gnome Gift Basket is not just for Christmas. You can easily change the colors and find something else to put on his hat.

The hat hides the “hidden” stash or gifts inside until the “unveiling”. He’s also a cute organizer, stash basket, or decoration.

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project.

Materials:
This pattern uses 2 strands of Worsted Weight yarn held together. Bulky weight yarn (#5) can be substituted. However, some smaller elements will require only 1 strand of Worsted Weight Yarn.

Basket: 2 oz/56 g divided into 2 balls
Main Cap: 2 oz/56 g divided into 2 balls
Cap Band: .5 oz/14 g divided into 2 balls

20 yds or less of additional colors for small pieces like the nose, feet and wreath.
Poly-fill or an alternative stuff for the nose.
